Ferries to Chios depart from Cesme Ulusoy Port. The services are operated by passenger ships and ferries.

* Payments are made in Turkish Lira (TRY) based on the exchange rate on the day of purchase via credit card.

Cancellation & Changes

Date changes are allowed. Name changes and cancellations are not permitted.

Trip Duration

Approx. 5 nautical miles – around 30 minutes depending on sea and weather conditions.

Check-in Time

• With vehicle: at least 90 minutes before departure
• Passenger only: at least 20 minutes before departure

Visa & Passport Requirements

• A valid passport and a Schengen visa or port visa are required.
• Green Passport holders can travel visa-free.
• Passport must be valid for at least 90 days from return date and must not be older than 10 years.

Traveling with a Vehicle

• Vehicles can be transported. Green Card insurance is mandatory.
• If the vehicle is not in your name, a notarized power of attorney is required.
• For company vehicles: authorized personnel must carry a signature circular or a notarized authorization.
• Documents must be translated into English.

Currency

EURO – It is advised to exchange before the trip.

Exit Fee

The departure fee can be paid via contracted banks or online before the trip.

Special Note on Passports from Northern Cyprus

Entry to Greece is denied if the passport indicates "KKTC" as birthplace or contains KKTC entry stamps.
